Day 1: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 7 hrs

We will drive along the western hills from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trail offers amazing mountain views, small and scattered village settlements. Once we reach Dhunche, we will descend towards Syabrubesi. Overnight in Syabrubesi

Day 2: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6 hrs

On this day we will trek to Lama Hotel following the Langtang Khola River. After passing through a dense forest and crossing a suspension bridge, we will reach Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 3: Trek to Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft): 6/7 hr

The trail towards the Langtang Village initially passes through a dense forest. The route offers and amazing view of Langtang Lirung. We will come across water mills, prayer wheels, and chortens with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Overnight in Langtang Village.

Day 4: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 3-1/2 hr

On this day, we will trek towards Kyanjin Gompa-surrounded by the Himalayas all around.. We will come across yak pastures and also the largest mani wall in Nepal which is made from stone with prayers inscribed on them. After crossing several wooden bridges the track heads towards Kanjin Gompa. You can explore the place enjoying the views, glaciers, icefalls, birds and yaks. Overnight in Kanjin Gompa

Day 5: Kyanjin Gompa exploration day

On this day we will explore Kyanjin Gompa which offers spectacular views of green hills standing against the white mountains. Early in this morning we will visit Tserko Ri  (5000m/16,404ft) for a sunrise view. This place is also a spectacular viewpoint of Langtang range, Kinshung, Yansa Tsenji and the foot of the huge Lirung Glacier. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa- Lama Hotel: 5-6 hours

From Kyanjin Gompa, we will head towards Lama Hotel. It will take about 4/ 5 hours walk from Kanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel. The trail is mostly downhill through forest following the river. We will also encounter ethnic Tamang settlements. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 7: Lama Hotel – Thulo Syabru: 5-6 hours

The route towards Thilo Syabru passes across river and then ascends towards Thulo Syabru. We will encounter fascinating views of Langtang Himal. The trail goes through dense pine and Junieerps forests. Overnight in Thulo Syabru (2,230m/ 7,316ft).

Day 8: Thulo Syabru- Shin Gomba: 3-5 hours

One our way to Shin Gomba, we will first come across a village called Dimsa. The trail further continues less steeply, through rhododendron, hemlock and Oak forests to Shin Gomba. Along the journey, we will catch a wonderful glimpse of Langtang Himala and Langtang valley. Overnight in Shin Gomba (3,330m/10,925ft)

Day 9: Shin Gomba- Gosainkunda: 5-6 hours

The trail initially passes through an area entirely dominated by rhododendron and then through a forested area. The area in-between Shin gomba and Laurebina Yak is a sanctuary for the red panda, an endangered species that the Nepalese call cat bear. We will then climb a wider route through alpine country to arrive at a Gosainkunda. We will explore the Lake region. Overnight in Gosainkund (4,460m/14,632ft).

Day 10: Gosainkunda- Gopte: 6-8 hours

The route towards Gopte ascends uphill and through moraines. After passing three other small lakes, we will further ascend and cross Laurebina La (4,609m/15,121ft). The path then goes downhill to Phedi. Continue to walk up and down throughout crossing a rocky hill with pine, rhododendron trees. Overnight in Gopte (3,440m/11,286ft).

Day 11: Gopte- Malemchigaon: 6-7 hours

On this day we will trek towards Malemchigaon. The route heads across forested area and then passes through a dry riverbed before arriving at Kharka. This region is entirely dominated by rhododendron forest. We will walk through a forest and then arrive at the village of Thare Pati. This region gives you a marvelous view of the Jugal area. After crossing the village, we will enter a forested area from where the route will descend to Melamchi River. Overnight in Malemchigaon (2,560m/8,399ft)
